 APQP4Wind


PolyTech has been working with PPAP, APQP, FMEA etc. for many years.

Now when APQP4Wind has been introduced by the Danish Wind Industry Association, PolyTech has educated a large number of APQP4Wind Specialists and the whole management is educated in the APQP4Wind Management Awareness training. 

APQP4Wind is used for continuous quality improvements - to mature the quality performance at manufacturers and suppliers. APQP4Wind demands relevant product processes to ensure the correct quality of products from the release process.

Incoming goods inspection and final tests

In order to assure a consistent high level of quality, we have an in-house Test Laboratory. We check geometric and physical specifications in accordance with certified procedures. 

The quality control includes:

  • Fully automatic 3D measuring with SPC reporting
  • Measuring of viscosity
  • Measuring of hardness, surface roughness, and thickness of magnetic layers
  • Microscopy with photo documentation
  • Tensile Testing
  • Thermography
  • Data logging of test parameters
  • And many more...

 

Process Control and Traceability

PolyTech has implemented a high level of process control throughout the entire production process by applying the needed quality tools, including:  

  • SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition)
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)
  • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
  • Six Sigma (Techniques and tools for process improvement)
